Journey of the Dovahkiin: using a dead man's house

Here's something strange. A dragon appeared. Well, that's not especially unusual in this game, except that it seems to happen a bit more often than I expected. Here's something stranger. Two of my encounters with the scaly beasts have been in Rorikstead, this little village of 4 houses huddled together.

Life is never dull for the people of Rorikstead, who with each incident are fewer than ever. The place is a magnet for excitement. First of all, a group of bandits runs after me into the village, determiend to give me hugs. No, wait that's not right. Intent on murdering me. I come back to this little vilage a few nights later and bump into a bunch of hired thugs, recruited to take care of me. They barely have time to die when a dragon comes crashing down on the place. Hold on, could I be the magnet and these poor souls paying for it?

Well, some good did come out of all this. In the ensuing chaos, the humble farmer Lemkil perished. He bequethed his homely cottage to me. No, wait, he didn't. I just nabbed his key off his fresh corpse, and now use his home to store all my stuff. And boy do I have a lot of stuff. It's like a teenager's bedroom.

Oh dear, things then got a bit awkward. I step in one day and staring straight at me is Lemkil's young daughter. "Who're you? What're you doing in our house?" If you don't leave I'm calling the village guards!" It's almost like she doesn't know her father won't be coming home...
